ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG GO PUBLIC DI BURSA EFEK JAKARTA
A company's performance shown to the public are projecting the company's achievement. Financial performance is a vital element for a company to arrange policy development and give a state of assurance to the public of the accountability of a company.
This study was aimed to understand the influence offinancial ratio variables, namely: Current Ratio (CR), Inventory Turnover (ITO), Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), Total Debt to Total Assets (TDTA), Time Interest Earned (TIE), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), Price Earning Ratio (PER), and Market to Book Value Ratio (MBV), on the financial performance. The study focused on explanatory research on textile companies listed at the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) during 1999-2003. It utitlized purposive sampling method and MDA (Multivariate Discriminant Analysis) analysis.
This research concluded that financial ratio variables has significant influence to indentiry whether or not financial performance of a textile company is healthy. The Return on Assets was the most dominant variable in affecting the measurement of a company's financial performance.
